About the Firm
The Law Offices of Caren R. Nielsen is one of the firms that evolved from the well-established firm of Gillin, Scott, Alperstein, Glantz & Simon. The firm's senior partners, Nathan E. Gillin (now deceased) and S. Dell Scott (now retired), commenced practicing law in 1932 and 1948, respectively. In 1958, they formed the law firm of Gillin and Scott. The firm continued to practice under the name of Gillin, Scott, Alperstein, Glantz, Simon & Nielsen, A Law Corporation until March 31, 2000 at which time the members voluntarily separated.
The current firm of Law Offices of Caren R. Nielsen, A Professional Corporation performs a wide range of legal services and continues to share a suite with the other law firms which evolved from the original law firm. Due to the complexity of our legal system, attorneys tend to concentrate in certain areas, specifically wills and trusts, estate and gift tax planning, probate, trust law, conservatorships, elder law, guardianships and special needs trusts. Some of these areas overlap, thereby requiring the services of more than one member. This coordination provides the client with the best possible legal advice and documentation, consistent with sound business and professional practice.
The firm also holds seminars for clients and other professionals covering detailed aspects of specific and timely legal topics within its fields of specialization. |
